With more than a century of history, the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant is the most traditional vehicle plant of Daimler AG and will be further developed into a center of excellence for electric vehicles of the upper and luxury class in the global production network. Sindelfingen, as the lead plant, manages the production of the S- and E-Class series within the worldwide production network of Mercedes-Benz Cars. TECFABRIK is the future laboratory for innovative production technologies and processes in the context of Industry 4.0 and smart production. In addition, the group research of Daimler AG and the development and design of Daimler are located in Sindelfingen. This makes Sindelfingen one of the world’s leading competence centers for safety, innovation and design in automotive engineering. The Mercedes-Benz Customer Center in Sindelfingen supplies around 250 vehicles every day.
